Introduction

Well, well, well, the school year is coming to a close. Congratulations! You deserve a pat on the back!
To celebrate all of your hard work and accomplishments over the course of the year, your family has given you permission to host a party for yourself and all of your classmates at your home.
As the host/hostess of the party, it's YOUR job to make sure that your guests have a great time at the event. What is an important part of any party? Delicious FOOD, of course!

All throughout the fourth grade, you have been learning about the importance of eating a variety of healthy foods, and so you decide to make a fruit salad for all of your classmates to enjoy. Since this will be the main dish at your party, you want to make sure that every student will like it.

You have a very important role at this party, and so you need to discover a way to figure out which fruits are the best to use in your salad. Your family has given you twenty whole dollars ($20.00) to make this salad, so make sure you use your money wisely. You're on a tight budget!
